This action loaded movie shows roaring engines and the excitement of professional Stock-Car-Racing. Tom Cruise plays the race driver Cole Tickle, which talents and ambitions are only exceeded by his intention to win. Cole was found by the businessman Tim Daland (Randy Quaid) and takes place in a team of the legendary crew chief and car manufacturer Harry Hogge (winner of the Academy Award Robert Duvall) and starts at the Daytona 500 race of the famous Winston Cup.
